Caroline Sharpe-Szunko

Hi, I’m Caroline (or Caz!), a qualified Tax Fellow and money expert with over 15 years’ experience in financial services. I’m also Mum to two amazing kids, Farrell and Jocelyne, who keep me on my toes when I’m not working. Life outside of spreadsheets and money advice is full of running around after them, playing netball, snowboarding when I get the chance, walking my dogs, yoga, and (when I can escape) the odd rave to let my hair down!

I started my career working in large national accountancy firms, specialising in contractor and personal tax. But after my daughter was born in 2016, I decided it was time to do things differently. I launched my own tax accountancy practice to work more closely with private clients, and in 2019 I created MoneyPeopleOnline.co.uk, an online money advice service dedicated to supporting parents.

My mission is simple: to help families and parents get the most out of their money, so they can spend less time worrying about finances and more time enjoying family life. Whether it’s through practical tips, money-saving hacks, or tax advice, I love empowering parents to feel confident and in control of their financial world.
